With just two days remaining for its theatrical release, Sajid Nadiadwala’s O’Romeo has dropped a new poster featuring Avinash Tiwary as Jalal, offering a striking glimpse into his role in the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial.
The newly released poster presents Tiwary in a fierce, hardened avatar, complete with a bold head tattoo and an intense expression that signals the darker shades of his character. Positioned as a key antagonist in the film, Jalal appears set for a dramatic face-off with Shahid Kapoor’s character, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
Opening up about the film, Avinash Tiwary said, “O Romeo has been one of the most amazing opportunities in my journey as an actor. Knowing that I was Sajid sir’s first choice for the role makes me deeply happy and grateful, and it’s something I will always cherish. The chance to work with Vishal Bharadwaj on a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala was truly something I had only ever dreamed of.”
Speaking about shaping his character, he added, “As a part, it gave me the opportunity to create an antagonist who could be remembered. Building that character alongside Vishal sir came with a sense of responsibility. His filmography speaks for itself, the antagonists in his films always leave a lasting impact, being entrusted with that was both challenging and rewarding. It has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling journeys of my career, especially because this role gave me a sense of ownership like never before. The freedom and confidence Vishal sir gave me to take flight is something I will remember for life.”
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo features an ensemble cast including Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey in a special appearance. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is slated to release in theatres on February 13, 2026.
With the latest poster focusing on Jalal’s menacing presence, the film’s promotions are now building toward what is expected to be an intense on-screen confrontation.
