Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda took off to Delhi earlier this week to ring in their wedding ceremonies with their family. The couple tied the knot at the picturesque ITC Grand Bharat in the city and after the lavish celebrations, the newlyweds were seen doing their griha pravesh (entering the house as husband and wife for the first time) ritual on March 16, in full-on ‘band baaja baarat’ style .

Paparazzi accounts have been sharing the grand way the ‘dulha’ and ‘dulhan’ entered their home in Delhi on Saturday evening. While their residence was decorated with lights, flowers with even the entrance being covered with sheer dupattas to give a red-carpet welcome to the ‘bahu’ Kriti Kharbanda, the couple decided to enter their home with style and swag too. They called for Dhols and played live music as they danced their heart out before entering inside the gate. The moments were captured on camera by paparazzi who were waiting outside Pulkit’s home to capture these candid shots.

For the unversed, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda kicked off their pre-wedding celebrations on March 14 with Mehendi and Sangeet. While Haldi ceremony was held along with the Chooda ceremony on March 15, on the eve of Friday, the couple tied the knot. On Saturday, the duo took to social media to share photos of the main wedding ceremony wherein they also penned a heartfelt note expressing their happiness about entering the new phase in their life.

Pulkit, who was earlier married to Shweta Rohira and got separated from her in 2015, is expected to have met Kriti Kharbanda on the sets of Veere Ki Wedding which released in 2018. The couple also went on to do films like Pagalpanti and Taish and soon also announced about being in a relationship. However, it was not until earlier this year, did rumours of them being engaged started doing the rounds.
