Netflix recently released the first-ever teaser trailer for its upcoming South Korean film Love and Leashes. The romantic-comedy film stars Girls’ Generation’s member Seohyun and D.P. actor Lee Jun Young. The film premieres on February 11, 2022.
The 30-second teaser begins with Seohyun leaning against an office desk holding a purple rope while silk ties, collars and leashes spill out from a box on the floor. Ji Woo is introduced as the dominant as she tightens the rope in her hands. Meanwhile, Ji Hoo, the submissive, looks eager as he’s tightly bound by Ji Woo’s ropes. She is then seen wrapping a purple silk tie around the singer-actor Lee Jun Young.
Texts pop up on screen introducing Ji Woo (Seohyun) as the “rookie domme” and Ji Hoo (Lee Jun Young) as the “expert sub”. The clip ends with the two turning to one another and smiling.
As per a report by Korean tabloid Soompi, based on a webtoon, Love and Leashes is about the thrilling romance between Ji Hoo (Lee Jun Young), a perfect man with unique tastes, and the capable public relations team employee Ji Woo (Seohyun), who accidently finds out about her popular co-worker Ji Hoo’s sexual preferences through a package.
The film is helmed by director Park Hyun Jin whose previous works include Lovers of 6 Years and Like for Likes.
