We were not even out from the Sonam Kapoor – Anand Ajuha wedding hangover that we were pleasantly surprised with the news of Neha Dhupia getting MARRIED to Anged Bedi! Yeah, it did shock our senses but hey, it is a free country and celebrities have the right to keep their life private. But well not just us, even their closest friends were kept out of the loop. None of the industry insiders knew that two were set to get married in a private ceremony in Noida, away from the prying eyes of the press who were busy with the Sonam Kapoor wedding hoopla. Karan Johar got to announce Neha’s marriage on Twitter with a heart-warming of the two and the couple followed his suit. Just as Neha post the picture on Insta, the entire Bollywood reacted in the most HONEST way!
Ayushmann Khurrana’s reaction was what we were wondering all along. He said, “Bhag ke shaadi kar li isliye humein bulaya bhi nai.” Well he later called them two best people and wished them happiness. Fashion photographer Atul Kasbekar too had the most real reaction! He said he wanted to give a tight whack for this super secrecy thing but later quickly indulgently wished them all the happiness! Everyone from Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan to Sania Mirza wrote WTF, OMG and congratulated the couple. Benafsha Soonawalla, MTV VJ, told Neha that she is hilarious but this was no joking matter. The puzzled reactions show that the industry was actually unaware and the family did a bloody good job hiding this from them. Now, Neha-Angad sure would have to give them a big fat treat and do some damage control. Right?
