Nawazuddin Siddiqui was in Goa recently to take part in the ongoing 53rd edition of the International Indian Film Festival of India (IFFI). He took the opportunity to meet and interact with the Chief Minster of Goa Pramod Sawant.
The actor shared pictures of his meet with the CM on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Discussion on Cinema & Art with Hon’ble CM of Goa Shri @drpramodpsawant Ji. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for the love and honor.” The two are seen immersed in a conversation in one picture while in the other Sawant is seen presenting a bouquet to Nawaz.
Throwing more light on the meet between the two, an official statement from the actor’s publicist said, “The actor and the chief minister conversed on Cinema and Art and relished in a good time. Later the honourable CM facilitated the actor with a bouquet full of red flowers.”
As far as IFFI is concerned, Nawazuddin took a masterclass at the festival where he spoke about his struggling days and about him signing some key projects.
On the work front, Nawazuddin will next be seen in Haddi, where he will be portraying the role of a transgender woman.
