MISSION MANGAL: Taapsee Pannu wraps up shoot for the film; shares a still from sets

Earlier we had reported that Taapsee Pannu would be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the film Mission Mangal. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film is said to be based on India’s Mars mission and the scientists involved in it. Well, while the cast of the film have been sharing regular posts about the shooting, we hear that Taapsee has wrapped up her bit of the film.

Taking to the image sharing site Instagram, Taapsee Pannu elaborated that her character’s journey in Mission Mangal had come to an end with her wrapping up the shoot. Sharing an image of her character Kritika Aggarwal from the sets of the film, Taapsee wrote, “End of an another beautiful journey….. #MissionMangal comes to an end for ‘Kritika Aggarwal’ Every film comes n goes like a teacher of sorts, this one gave a true demo of what is the magic of team work…. with such wonderful actors together in one frame it was truly an experience to treasure and cherish. This August 15th will be the celebration of this super power called India ???????? ????: Mission Director ‘Rakesh Dhawan’ (@akshaykumar )”.

As for the film, Mission Mangal is co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films. Said to focus on women scientists, who were involved in the mission, the film stars Kirti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha alongside Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon.
