And recently she also received the same amount of love when she visited the United Kingdom to meet the Prime Minister of the country, Rishi Sunak.

Manisha Koirala had a special meeting with the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to celebrate a century of the friendship treaty which was signed between countries United Kingdom and Nepal. For the unversed, Manisha belongs to the country of Nepal. Further sharing photos of the same on Instagram, the actress also penned a heartfelt note where she not only posted about her experience of meeting the UK Prime Minister and also invited him to trek on the Mt. Everest but also expressed gratitude towards everyone who praised her for Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

In her post, Manisha wrote, “It was an honor to be invited to 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom - Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship treaty. It was such a pleasure to hear the Prime Minister @rishisunakmp speak fondly of our country #nepal????. I took the liberty of inviting the P.M. and his family to come trek to Everest Base Camp.” She added, “Can you believe that most of the attendees had seen #heeramandionnetflix and loved it ? I was thrilled!!”

For the unversed, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is a web-series, helmed by popular Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it features an ensemble cast which includes the likes of Richa Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, Pratibha Ranta, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Taha Shah Badussha, among others in key roles. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
