In a recently shared behind-the-scene video, we can witness the transformation. Did you know that it took two long hours before his desired look was achieved? In the video, Saif reveals that this is the first time that he sat for so long, getting ready. He is also seen learning sword fighting, working out by the river and brushing up his horse riding skills. You can also get glimpses of a few sequences of the film.

The film is a thriller, revolving around a Naga Sadhu who also happens to be a bounty hunter. Actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Sonakshi Sinha, Zoya Hussain, and Manav Vij will be seen playing pivotal roles.

Navdeep Singh, whose directorial debut happened with the lesser known but critically acclaimed film Manorama Six Feet Under, rose to fame after he directed Anushka Sharma's Home Production NH10 and has now directed this Saif starter. Laal Kaptaan is slated to release on 18th October, 2019.
