The upcoming horror-comedy Stree 2 is already generating buzz, and the latest round of playful banter between its stars, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, has only added to the excitement. The former co-stars, who shared screen space in the horror fantasy film Bhediya, are currently engaged in a good-natured social media feud. It all began when Varun shared a teaser of the song Khoobsurat from Stree 2, featuring himself and Shraddha Kapoor.

Kriti couldn't resist taking a playful dig at Varun. Referring to him as a "Dhokebaaz" (cheater), she jokingly pointed out that he now has a "Stree no. 2" in his life. Her comment was a reference to their on-screen chemistry in Bhediya. Undeterred, Varun responded with a hilarious edit of a scene from Stree, suggesting that he was taking revenge on Kriti for her dance with Rajkummar Rao in the film.

Kriti, however, had the last laugh. She retorted, "Hahahhahaa.. see, that Haveli is where I got bitten! But I think you’ve forgotten who bit you on the bum!"

The film, which is a sequel to the hugely successful Stree, is set to release on Independence Day 2024. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Stree 2 boasts a star-studded cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
