In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8, sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were the guests on the chat show. While this was Janhvi's third time on the show, The Archies debutante made her first appearance. As they spoke about their lives and careers, Janhvi Kapoor talked about her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. The two were reportedly together in their early years but had broken up and went separate ways. However, over the past year, they have been back together and are often seen making appearances.

Karan asked Janhvi Kapoor, “You have had an interesting path of love, you were dating Shikhar, and then you dated someone else and now you are dating Shikhar again. True or false.” To which, Janhvi replied, “I won't say that but I will say this, he is, not just for me, but for her (Khushi), for dad and everyone in our family, he has been there from the start as a friend. Not in a way that made me feel like he is expecting anything or he is a pushover or any of those things. He was just there in a very selfless dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being there for another human being.”

Karan then joked, “I miss seeing you in the building. You moved to another building but I miss seeing you when you’d visit…” as he insinuated that she’d visit Shikhar. She then quipped, “Shikhar and I are just good friends.”

During the Rat Race round, when Karan asked Janhvi to “name three people on your speed-dial list,” she responded, “Papa, Khushu (Khushi) and Shiku (as in Shikhar Pahariya).”
