South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho shared a post on Instagram 7 months after being embroiled in controversy. The Start-Up star gave a heartfelt apology to his fans in his recently shared post.
On May 7, the day before his birthday, Kim Seon Ho took to Instagram for his first post in over half a year. “I’m sorry that I’ve made you go through difficult times because of my shortcomings… thank you for celebrating my birthday this year as well and sending me more birthday wishes than I deserve,” the actor wrote, as translated by Korean tabloid Soompi. “I will remember the precious feelings you’ve expressed to me, and I will become an actor that can repay your support and encouragement.”

Kim Seon Ho, who took a social media hiatus after being embroiled in a controversy with his ex-girlfriend, recently turned 36 (by international reckoning) on May 8. The actor is currently filming his upcoming movie Sad Tropics (literal translation).
Last year, Kim Seon Ho was involved in a controversy after his ex-girlfriend uploaded an anonymous post alleging that her unnamed actor ‘K’, her ex-boyfriend had manipulated her into getting an abortion under false pretenses. Kim Seon Ho admitted that he was the actor mentioned in the post and released an official apology. Following the controversy, Kim Seon Ho was removed from two films he had been confirmed to star in director Kim Deok Min’s omnibus film Dog Days and director Lee Sang Geun’s romantic comedy film 2 O’Clock Date.
