In a candid conversation with Neha Dhupia on her show No Filter Neha, actor Kartik Aaryan addressed his struggles as an outsider in the Hindi film industry. Kartik revealed facing numerous rejections in his initial days, even admitting moments of discouragement. A recently released clip from the upcoming episode features Kartik reminiscing, "I have done those ads also where I would just hold a placard and stand in front of the camera."
The actor further confessed, "I used to cry a lot. I used to feel really bad when I was rejected in so many auditions." The conversation also included a lighthearted moment where Aaryan humorously awarded the 'PR ka pyaara award' to Ranbir Kapoor, known for his relatively low-key public relations presence.
Shifting gears, Aaryan discussed the challenges he faced while filming his upcoming project, Chandu Champion. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film demanded immense physical commitment from the actor. "Chandu Champion is one of the toughest films I have ever done," Kartik remarked, revealing he undertook a year-long sugar detox and intense training to portray the role of an athlete.
The clip further shed light on the 33-year-old actor’s unwavering belief in his previous film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Despite initial scepticism surrounding the film's success, Kartik maintained his confidence, stating, "Since the film was announced, every person was saying that it won't work but I believed in the film." Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 went on to become a commercial success.
Neha Dhupia also managed to steer the conversation towards Aaryan's personal life. The actor playfully acknowledged having "time for love" now and jokingly requested Neha to "find someone" for him. When questioned about his on-screen marriage preferences, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor quipped, "I have married all of them on screen." He delivered another humorous response when asked about a question he would pose to his ex-girlfriend, replying, "I would ask how is your current?"
Speaking of the professional front, as mentioned above, he will be next seen in Chandu Champion. Meanwhile, currently, he is shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Kolkata.
