Even though Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar are pretty close, Simmba was the first time when the duo collaborated professionally. Karan has always appreciated Ranveer’s energetic behaviour. Simmba crossed over Rs. 200 crores on the box office and KJo is going gaga over Ranveer, for all the right reasons.
Karan opened up about his opinions on Ranveer and he said his energy enhances his performance. KJo admits that the Simmba actor has always been flamboyant about his personality and has never tried to keep it under wraps. He even went on to say that Ranveer is his hero and that Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan don’t have energy as much as Ranveer and called them unique in their own way.
KJo and Ranveer are next going to come together in a multi-starrer mammoth like project, Takht, releasing in 2020. Ranveer’s upcoming movie Gully Boy hits the silver screen on 14th February and also stars Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, among others.
