Kapkapiii actor Tusshar Kapoor on his experience with Ouija Board, “It would be better if it is limited to films” : Bollywood News

Actor Tusshar Kapoor is making a comeback to the big screen with the horror-comedy Kapkapiii, centered around friends who use a Ouija board to contact spirits. Reflecting on the film’s theme, Tusshar shared that he once tried the board in childhood for fun but now chooses to stay away from it.

During the press conference for Kapkapiii, attended by Tusshar Kapoor, Sonia Rathee, and Siddhi Idnani, Tusshar humorously remarked that attempting to contact spirits through a Ouija board or similar means should only be limited to movies.

When asked by ANI if he had ever interacted with individuals who had used a Ouija board or engaged in similar activities, given that the film is said to be “based on true events”, Tusshar Kapoor clarified, “These are not my true events. People have done these things about which I don’t know much. I did it in my childhood for fun, but I didn’t try to extensively pursue it neither, want to do in future. It would be better if it is limited to films.”

The actor also emphasized that one should avoid engaging with the supernatural without proper understanding. “And why disturb the other world or the unknown about which we don’t have much knowledge except those people who have an understanding of that world? They should also do it with safety. I am inquisitive and curious only till a point where people can watch horror films and get entertained with such stories,” added Tusshar.

The actor further expressed his reluctance to engage in activities like the Ouija board in the future. “But trying to experiment (Ouija Board) with it is something I won’t do. I would say that we should be in peace and let them also be rest in peace,” concluded Tusshar.

Kapkapiii is set to hit theatres on May 23. Directed by the late filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan, known for films like Kya Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money, the film also features Shreyas Talpade in a lead role. Tusshar Kapoor has urged audiences to give Kapkapiii a chance in honor of Sivan, who passed away during the film’s post-production.
