Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel calls Alia Bhatt’s role in Gully Boy much more violent and criminal while comparing it to Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh!

Amidst major controversies over Kabir Singh that have fuelled up as feminists accuse the film of promoting misogynistic behaviour, Rangoli Chandel has not just come out in support of the film but has once dragged Alia Bhatt into the controversy. Readers would be aware that social media users are upset with an interview given by director Sandeep Vanga where he not only defended Kabir Singh’s abusive behaviour but also added that one should be able to slap a woman when he is in a relationship with her. His words have left many fuming but Rangoli is of the opinion, that the role portrayed by Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy was more violent and that it was hailed by feminists and feminazis.

In the interview given by Sandeep Vanga, the filmmaker defended the behaviour of Kabir Singh who is accused of being misogynistic and disrespecting towards women in the film. However, Vanga stated in an interview that a man should be able to do whatever with a woman. Women across the country took offence to his statements and decided to speak about it on Twitter. Followed by that, Rangoli Chandel went on to accuse them of being hypocrites because the same feminists had earlier hailed the behaviour of Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy!

Rangoli expressed her thoughts in a series of tweets saying, “yeh jo berozgaar anpadh gawar feminazi jo Kabir Singh pe kood pade hai, Inko Gully Boy ke Safeena @aliaa08 mein kuch burai nahin lagi, she was violent, abusive and criminal beyond Kabir can ever be...every time her boy friend slept with another woman please note she never said anything to him, woh Raja beta hai, but she broke bottles on woman’s head, they are hospitalised and criminal cases were put on Safeena...woman against woman, if your man cheats on you don’t want to talk to you not take your calls go beat up the woman he likes, yeh sab feminist ispe khade hokar taliyaan marte hain... socho !! Weeks apart Rani LaxmiBai &Gully Boy come, not a single word from feminazi about LaxmiBai’s feminism!! kyun because she is a Maratha Hindu woman?”
