In a recent incident, Anjali, visited Jammu for work purpose and she came across a bunch of people who were protesting outside the airport, who lost their homes and the promised weren’t fulfilled by the authorities in Jammu.

Anjali, decided to help these people. She took to her social media sharing a video with them with a message stating, “Hi everyone, I would like to share an incident which took place recently while I was at Jammu airport, I’d visited Jammu for work purpose and outside the airport I came across a bunch of people protesting and sitting on a footpath seeking for justice. I just couldn’t ignore and wanted to ask them the reason for their protest, to which I got a very shocking response.”

She further stated, “These people and their families went homeless in no time, their homes were destroyed in order to build Jammu airport’s parking and in return they were promised new home and proper housing facilities. It has costed them 5 years and a number of lives of their family members and friends to just get a home in return. With getting absolutely broke these people have no money to pay their rent or even feed their family.”

She concluded stating, “They have been sitting on a footpath for days in rains to seek justice, and we as citizens of this country and as humans should support them and demand their rights and justice. I have full faith in the government of India that they will look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest.
