Janhvi Kapoor has been preparing for the release of her upcoming film, Mr & Mrs Mahi, with Rajkumar Rao. The actress has been giving interviews and sharing her feelings during the promotional tour of the film. In one such video from a promotional event, Janhvi is seen confessing about examining her boyfriend's phone.

A fan page on X posted the video, in which Janhvi Kapoor was seen in a conversation with her followers. One of her followers questioned if girlfriends should be permitted to monitor their boyfriends' phones. The Gunjan Saxena actress calmly responded by saying that she knew it was a red flag, but even she often checks her boyfriend's phone, in addition, the actress quickly winced and said, "No," in response to the question of whether boyfriends should be permitted to look through their girlfriends' phones. When questioned further to determine the cause of this, she replied, “Kyu vishwaas nahin karte kya?”

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor visited Ahmedabad to promote her movie. During her visit, the actress made sure to show her support for her favorite IPL team, RCB with Orry. A video captured from the stands of the two of them gazing down at their admirers while cell phones are thrown at them has gone viral. Fans hurled their phones in their direction to get them to take selfies. However, Janhvi’s attempt to capture the flying phones is so funny that it's making everyone laugh as much as her.

Janhvi is currently getting ready for the release of her forthcoming film alongside Rajkumar Rao, Mr & Mrs Mahi, backed up by Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Helmed by Sharan Sharma and a screenplay co-written by him and Nikhil Mehrotra, Mr & Mrs Mahi will open in theatres On May 31, 2024.
