Preity Zinta, who is shuttling between India and the US, where she lives with her husband and kids, is all set to make a comeback in films. Along with that, the actress also seems to have returned to the Cannes Film Festival 2024 which is currently being held in France. After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sashayed the ramp last week as the brand ambassador for the skincare and cosmetics brand L’Oreal Paris, we hear that this Veer Zaara actress too will be attending the film festival for a particular reason.
It is being said that the actress has returned to Cannes Film Festival after over a decade. It seems that Preity attended the festival to walk the red carpet for premiere of some popular international films which were being screened at the festival, and also as the ambassador for the luxury watch brand Chopard. Now, over ten years later, Preity has decided to make a comeback to the prestigious festival to present the Pierre Angenieux Award to Indian cinematographer Santhosh Sivan. The actress worked with him in her debut film Dil Se… and is now all set to reunite with him for her next film Lahore 1947.
A video of Preity Zinta doing a photoshoot in an ethereal white sequined dress at Cannes has found its way on social media and the fanclubs of the actress couldn’t hold their excitement about their favourite star making a comeback.

On the film front, Preity will be returning to the silver screen with Lahore 1947 where she will be featuring alongside Sunny Deol. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Apart from them, it is expected to feature an ensemble supporting cast including Sunny’s elder son Karan Deol.
