Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak marked a special milestone in their personal lives as they celebrated their godh bharai ceremony, sharing intimate moments from the ritual with fans on Instagram. The event, held recently, provided an early glimpse into the couple’s transition towards parenthood surrounded by loved ones and traditional blessings.
In a video shared on her social media, Shivaleeka was seen dressed in a purple-hued saree from Safetypins, complemented by statement jewellery gifted by her mother. Abhishek Pathak, known for his work on films such as Drishyam 2, looked dapper in a white kurta-pyjama paired with an off-white jacket.
The highlights from the ceremony include the couple performing traditional rituals together, with family members showering them with flowers and blessings. In one clip, they are seen standing in front of a board that playfully asked, “Is it a boy or a girl?” — a moment that added warmth and anticipation to the occasion.

Shivaleeka and Abhishek’s relationship began on the set of Khuda Haafiz, where she starred opposite Vidyut Jammwal and Pathak served as producer. The couple’s engagement was announced in 2022, and they later married in Goa in February 2023. In late December 2025, the pair announced their pregnancy amid the festive season, sharing the news that their “love story has found its sweetest verse — a tiny blessing is joining our universe.”
