Actor Hrithik Roshan took to social media on Monday to wish his director Siddharth Anand on his birthday. In his post, Hrithik referred to Siddharth as his "favourite 'fighter' to have creative arguments with."
Hrithik shared a collage picture of him and Siddharth on Instagram and wrote, "Here's to a filmmaker, friend and my favourite 'fighter' to have creative arguments with. Happy Birthday Sid!! May you keep flying high and soaring the skies. Love you, man."
For the unversed, Hrithik and Siddharth have collaborated on two films together, including the blockbusters Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019). They are currently working on the upcoming aerial action thriller film Fighter, which is slated to release on January 25, 2024.
Siddharth recently helmed the action thriller film Pathaan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it emerged to be an all-time blockbuster.
Hrithik, on the other hand, will be seen in the action thriller film War 2. Besides him, the sequel will also star Jr NTR as the antagonist and Kiara Advani as the leading lady. It will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji, however, the official release date of the film is still awaited.
