Tapsee Pannu: "Decorate my house with diyas and lights. Call my friends over and have good food and music."

Urmila Matondkar: "The one thing that I make sure I do during Diwali is to gorge on all the yummy sweets without guilt or worry about my figure and yes, when I see my family around me I thank God for a great life with such a beautiful array of family and friends. The one thing I don't do is burst noisy crackers."

Neha Dhupia: "To me, there is just one do and one don't for Diwali. I always play cards and never burst firecrackers."

David Dhawan: "Aur kuch ho yaa na ho, the family has to do Laxmi puja together. It's an annual ritual we can't do without."

Tusshar Kapoor: "I don't play cards and I don't light crackers. I spend time with my parents and sister. And with close friends."

Raima Sen: "I make sure to buy something in gold for luck. Lighting diyas is a must. Also avoided crackers, like I do every year."

Hema Malini: "Each Diwali, Esha, Ahana and I make sure we wear new clothes. And we try not to eat too many sweets."

Mahie Gill: "No matter what happens I make sure that during Diwali I am with my family. According to me that's the best gift you can give to yourself."

Prabhu Dheva: "I am in Chennai with my children for Diwali. Nowadays, with my schedules being what they are, I hardly get time to visit Chennai to be with my children. Diwali for me is family-time. This Diwali I wish I'd spend all my Diwalis with my children."

Raveena Tandon: "There will be Laxmi Pujan and dinner with the family and close friends. After that I'll be at Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's for Ash's birthday-cum-Diwali celebrations. For Diwali, I wish everyone would do something that would bring a smile to the face of someone in distress. Don't light crackers, light up a life."

Ranbir Kapoor: "Diwali is a huge event in our home. There'll be the usual family puja. And of course loads of sweets. My grandmother cooks the most delicious Diwali delicacies in the world. "

Bipasha Basu: "Diwali this year will be spent, as always, with my family and friends. There will be a puja followed by dinner. I also want to clean up, renovate and probably repaint my house."

Koena Mitra: "I'll have a modest Kali puja and Laxmi puja at home. I like rangolis and diyas. I like crackers too - but from a distance. I don't know how to play cards and I find it very boring to stand and watch others play. After the puja I'll attend a few house parties at close friends' places."

Arshad Warsi: "Diwali for me is a day with the family. Me, Maria, Zeke and Zene Zoe...and that's a happy Diwali for me. No crackers needed."

Celina Jaitley: "There's Laxmipuja as well in my house. I'll decorate my home with traditional diyas. We are incorrigible card players. And the sessions go on late into the night, with occasional indulgence in gujiya and sweets."

Malaika Arora: "I don't play cards. But my husband Arbaaz will. For me this year Diwali is extra-special, it also happens to be my son's birthday. So even more dhamaka. What more do I want?"

Mahesh Bhatt: "Bollywood is a gambler's den. We gamble all through the year. Why do we need to play cards at Diwali?"
