Here’s how Twinkle Khanna responded when PM Narendra Modi addressed Akshay Kumar about her criticism towards him : Bollywood News

Akshay Kumar recently had a conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The conversation was recorded at PM Modi’s official home in 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi. During the conversation, Akshay asked whether the politician follows anyone on Twitter or actively sees the conversations that take place online. To which he responded saying that he follows Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna. But, he also mentioned that he thinks Twinkle is angry with him.

"Main aapka bhi Twitter dekhta hoon aur Twinkle Khanna ji ka Twitter dekhta hoon. Kabhi Kabhi toh mujhe lagta hai ki vo mere upar gussa nikaalti hai Twitter pe, toh uske kaaran aapke parivaarik jeevan mein badi shaanti rehti hogi. Unka pura gussa mujpe nikal jaata hoga isliye aapko araam rehta hoga. Toh is prakaar se main aapke kaam aaya hoon (laughs). (I look at social media, so that I can know what's going on outside. I also see your and Twinkle's (Akshay's wife) twitter feeds. And the way she gets angry on me, I think it will give your family a lot of peace)," Modi said.

Prime Minister Modi further talked about that he had met Twinkle Khanna's paternal grandfather Chunnibhai Kapadia many years ago. "Gujarat mein ek bohot bada akaal (drought) padha tha, toh hum log kuch na kuch samaajik kaam karte the. Usmein hum butter milk ke kendra chalaate the," added PM Modi.

"Unhone donation diya tha aur humne chaach kendra shuru kiye the bohot badi matra mein. Toh us samay mein unki nanaji se mulaqat hui thi. Kaafi baatein huin thi unke saath," he added.

Responding to Modi's words during the conversation, Twinkle Khanna simply said that she is seeing this in positive way that the PM reads her work. "I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work :) "
