Well, all of us know that Sridevi has worked with Boney Kapoor in many films, with Anil Kapoor being one of her popular co-stars. Amidst many blockbusters, the trio has also worked in films that were box office failures. One amongst them was Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja. The film was a big break for actor Satish Kaushik who was switching to direction. But considering its poor performance at the box office, now Satish decided to take to social media to apologize for the same.

Satish Kaushik, who currently switches his roles as an actor and director in Bollywood films, got his big break as a director with Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. It also featured the top stars at that time, Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in lead roles. Considering the bond that Boney Kapoor shared with Satish Kaushik who has been a regular in all his films, his big break was given by none other than Boney.

Satish Kaushik took to Twitter on the 25^th anniversary of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ko Raja to speak about the film. Fondly remembering Sridevi, Satish Kaushik also took the blame of the film’s poor performance entirely on himself. “Yes 25 yrs ago it was a disaster at BO bt it was my first child & will remain close to heart. Remembering madam Sridevi & my sorry 2 Boney Kapoor who gave me a break bt was broke after d film,” tweeted Satish Kaushik.

It is being said that the late Sridevi had to sell some of her assets then in order to help Boney recover the loss he had incurred after producing the film. It seems that the Twitterati were quite touched by Satish’s note and some of them even appreciated the actor-filmmaker for taking the blame of the failure of the film.

Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja [1993] released after the blockbuster Mr. India which created immense anticipation. The film also starred Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher in integral roles in the film.
