When R.A.T. FILMS and Ruchi Narain told us they are taking the animation genre in India to a whole new level we didn’t understand the intensity, but seeing the full throttle promotions across theatres, schools and more, piques our curiosity for what more is in store for us with the one of a kind Hanuman Da Damdaar.
“Hanuman Da Damdaar is no child’s play for us. We are serious about our take on animation films and we want to reach out to the maximum number of people. We believe in content based stories like Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion and were betting on loads of people flocking to see it. That's why it was imperative for us to have high visibility and engagement in theatres at this time” expressed the young Producer Ashutosh Shah.
A special world of Hanuman was created in the theatres where Kids got an interactive experience with their favourite Superhero. Special ‘Damdaar Selfie’ spots were created where everyone could click a ‘Damdaar Selfie’ with Hanuman and post it on social media to win official merchandise.
The world of Hanuman not only enchanted the kids but also their parents, we hear making the event an irrevocable success. The team made the experience so much fun that while people had their adrenaline pumping with Baahubali, the smile on their faces reminded them of Hanuman Da Damdaar.
“I have never experience such passionate yet fun marketing of a film, but R.A.T. Films have been convinced that they don’t want to leave a single stone unturned when it comes to promoting their one of its kind animation film,” quipped the head of marketing for Hanuman Da Damdaar.
"We've made the film and mounted it with a lot of passion, and hard work ...now we are taking it to the release with the same gusto. It was our vision from the beginning that we want to give our audience a summer filled with fun, a bonanza in every sense", enthused director Ruchi Narain.
Judging by the response and the level of participation across platforms, it looks like indeed Hanuman is going to be Damdaar! Written and directed by Ruchi Narain, Hanuman Da Damdaar with an ensemble cast featuring voice overs by Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Kunal Kemmu, Chunky Pandey, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, Makrand Deshpande and Javed Akhtar is been produced by R.A.T. FILMS, presented by RNB film in association with R.A.T films and is slated to release on May 19.
