Google has expanded its collaboration with Tiger Telly, the advertising arm of Tiger Baby founded by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, with a new six-part micro-drama titled A Perfect Match. The series, featuring Ishaan Khatter and Sara Arjun, is being rolled out during the ongoing Indian Premier League season.
The campaign was introduced through a series of teaser moments, beginning with a cryptic manuscript post shared by Akhtar, followed by behind-the-scenes glimpses from Tiger Baby and director Arjun Varain Singh. The first chapter, released over the weekend, introduces the lead characters Kabir and Navya, setting up a narrative centred around a single date and a pivotal search-led interaction.
Written by Akhtar and directed by Singh, the series unfolds across six episodes, blending a light romantic storyline with the backdrop of India’s cricket season. The narrative integrates Google Search into everyday situations, aiming to reflect how technology supports discovery and connection.

Commenting on the project, Akhtar said, “At Tiger Telly, we have always chased stories that live in the quiet, real moments, and A Perfect Match does exactly that. Two people, the excitement of the IPL, and Ishaan and Sara bringing something so genuine to it that it surprises you. It's been great to collaborate with Google again as their allies in brand storytelling.”
