Bollywood and Punjabi actor Gippy Grewal recently expressed his admiration for his Shinda Shinda No Papa co-star Hina Khan, after learning about her battle with stage 3 breast cancer. Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Gippy shared his surprise when Hina revealed her diagnosis through an emotional Instagram post. He immediately reached out to her, only to find that she was staying strong, determined, and positive despite the challenges. Gippy said, “I was shocked when I read the post myself... She is a very brave girl, and it is difficult to have the kind of courage she has shown."

Gippy also revealed that Hina kept her illness private during the promotions of their film, despite being in pain. He mentioned how Hina never let her health struggles interfere with her work. “We have a very good relationship with Hina, and she’s very close to my wife as well. I was unaware of her condition at the time, and it came as a shock when I found out,” Gippy said, highlighting her strength and resilience during such a difficult period.

Hina Khan, widely known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shared her cancer diagnosis with fans in June 2024. In an Instagram post, she revealed, “I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer... I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease.” She encouraged her followers to share supportive suggestions and experiences, while also reassuring them that her treatment had already begun, and she was determined to fight through.

Continuing to inspire while undergoing treatment
Despite her diagnosis, Hina Khan hasn’t let the illness hold her back from doing what she loves. Recently, she stunned her fans by walking the ramp at a fashion week in a gorgeous red saree, adorned with traditional jewellery.
