Anita Dongre’s Homage is a celebration of core philosophy - knowledge that every garment is honoured by its wearer. Inspired by traditional art and architecture and created for a muse who defies the pressure to either conform to or break free of societal expectations. The collection reinterprets motifs and details in a range of crafts and techniques including Bandhni and Benarasi. Instead of models, Anita Dongre chose to feature Gen-Z women from different walks of life for this campaign. All five muses are an embodiment of the quintessential Anita Dongre woman — thoughtful, individualistic, ever-evolving, and dedicated to charting her own path. Anita Dongre's new campaign titled Homage that features Sara Tendulkar, Serena Jethmalani, Taina Taraporvala, Rhea Kuruvilla and Alaviaa Jaaferi.
First look at Anita Dongre’s new wedding collection, “Homage,” featuring Sara Tendulkar, Alaviaa Jaaferi
Sara Tendulkar is slowly making it big in the world of fashion. Earlier she modelled for an international brand and now she is seen in designer Anita Dongre's campaign. In a lehenga by Anita Dongre, Sara Tendulkar looks nothing less than a regal princess. She portrays the ideal model wearing a flower embroidered lehenga. The exquisite stitching on the lehenga is distinctly original. Pink lehenga set with comes multi-coloured floral motifs hand-embroidered on raw silk, with accents of gota patti and sequins. Sara looks royal thanks to the exquisitely styled Indian flowers in her hair. It was appropriate to choose Sara Tendulkar as the inspiration for this campaign. The designer writes in her press statement that Sara has a profound love for bioscience research.
Daughter of Javed Jaaferi, Alaviaa Jaaferi, a fashion influencer, and entrepreneur lends her charm to highlight the transience of time - in architecture and human will. She donned a green lehenga with heavy jewellery and a flowery heavy pattern. Serena Jethmalani looked stunning while donning a purple-coloured lehenga. The diva looked incredible as she posed for an amazing photo. We were simply enthralled by the lehenga's beautiful embroidery. Rhea Kuruvilla appeared like a regal queen because of her blue embellished lehenga and her understated yet exquisite ensemble is ideal for any bridal look.
