The year is 2023 and Pakistan’s popular on-screen pair Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, known for their drama Humsafar which aired 11 years ago, have reunited for a bridal couture photoshoot. The two stars, who have previously worked in Bollywood respectively, were last seen in the blockbuster The Legend of Maula Jatt. Their reunion is for none other than Fawad’s wife Sadaf Fawad Khan’s bridal couture collection called Phir Milenge.
After teasing their reunion for over a week, the studio has unveiled the first picture of Fawad and Mahira embracing the 2023 collection which flirts with modernity but also revels in tradition and culture. On Mahira, she dons an embellished silver work red blouse with lehenga paired with silver jewellery. The hair tied in a bun with maroon red lips, contoured face and matte finish make-up rounds her look. On Fawad, he wears a silver-grey kurta paired with matching pajama while donning a moustache. The two of them look direct in the lens as the looks capture the timeless allure of weddings.

On the work front, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan were last seen in The Legend of Maula Jatt. The film is Pakistan’s most expensive film to date and went on to amass $13.8 million worldwide on 500 screens. In her next, she is working with Fawad again on his production Neelofar. She will also star in a mini-series Razia. On the other hand, Fawad will be starring in Zee5’s Barzakh with Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed.
