EXCLUSIVE: Tadap actor Ahan Shetty- “I don’t think I have made it in the industry, I have a lot to prove” : Bollywood News

Actor Ahan Shetty made his acting debut in the Hindi film industry last year with the film Tadap. Directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film was a remake of the Telugu film RX100. The young actor was recently present at the IIFA Awards 2022 held in Abu Dhabi and won the award for the Best Debut Actor (Male) for his performance in Tadap.

At the event, before winning the award while talking to Bollywood Hungama about his debut film, Ahan said, “It's very special for me. I want to continue to work hard and continue to prove myself. I don't think I have made it in the industry, and I have a lot to prove.”

When asked about attending the IIFA and watching others perform on stage, and how much it inspires him, Ahan said, “All of them are fantastic, whatever they do. Whether their performance, action, or dance. Tiger is also performing tonight, and he is one the finest dancers we have in the country, I'd say. So, it just makes you want to make you work hard.”

Salman Khan was the host of the function and is also a close friend of Suniel Shetty. The superstar was also present at the premiere of Ahan’s debut film Tadap. When asked about what advice he has received from the Dabangg star, Ahan said, “Salman sir has always been very supportive of me. He said, just be honest and work hard. That's what he keeps telling me.”

On the work front, Ahan will be starting work on his next film in September or October this year. The actor had signed a three-film deal with Nadiadwala and Grandson Entertainment. His next will be an action film.
