EXCLUSIVE: Smriti Kalra reveals why she is not a perfect fit of Bigg Boss; expresses her desire to be a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa : Bollywood News

From her most memorable performances in 12/24 Karol Bagh, Surveen Guggal, and other shows, Smriti Kalra has dived into films. Amidst her busy schedule, she took some time out to walk the red carpet of Lakme Fashion Week, and she was the first actress to have walked it with her father. Excited about the new opportunities coming her way, the actress spoke about reality shows and also revealed about what kind of show she is inclined to take up. In this exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, From Bigg Boss to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Smriti explains which reality show she would like to take up.

In this interview with Bollywood Hungama, Smriti Kalra discusses about why she doesn’t fit to be a part of Bigg Boss and why she loves Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. “I don't think I'm a good fit for Big Boss. Big Boss mein jo bhi aate hain who logon ko entertain karte hain. Main uss type ka entertainment nahi kar paungi. (Participants of Bigg Boss love to entertain people. I don’t think I will be able to entertain that way).”

Speaking about how much she would love to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, Smriti continued, “No one has tapped my dancing skills as yet. So I would absolutely love to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It’s just not a platform to show your dancing skills but you also learn so much in the process. So, I am more interested in learning the process because you learn so many different dance forms when you're competing in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. So I would absolutely love to do that if I participate in the dance show.”

Smriti Kalra is known for doing some of the most unconventional roles in the industry. Speaking about choosing such roles, the actress shared, “I have willingly wanted to play unconventional roles and subjects as it was my choice. I waited for these roles and they are all starkly different from one another. I waited and that's why you see that I take long breaks between choosing my projects. I scout for my roles, so I didn't tackle them. I beautifully played them and more importantly, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I hunted for them like hunting a cheetah,” she concluded.
