Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are all set to work together for the first time in upcoming movie, Fighter. The duo announced the film last year. It will be helmed by War director Siddharth Anand. While the fans are excited to see Deepika and Hrithik on screen together, the actress is confident that their chemistry will be something everyone can be excited about.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress was asked on how people adore her and Hrithik's on-screen chemistry. The actress said, “Have you seen us?”
She went on to say, “I have always wanted to work with him, I feel like, you know sometimes it’s not just about wanting to work with someone. I just feel like there are so many things, it has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, it has to be the right time in your life. There are so many things that decide. I guess it’s the right time for us to come together.”
In 2021, on Hrithik's birthday, the film was announced. "Presenting a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as Fighter!" he tweeted at the time. “I'm looking forward to taking my first flight with Deepika Padukone. I've got my seatbelt on for this Siddharth Anand thrill ride.”
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is promoting Gehraiyaan, which is helmed by Shakun Batra. The actress stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. The film releases on Amazon Prime Video on February 12, 2022.
