PVR INOX Pictures Limited, the motion picture arm of PVR INOX Limited, has become one of the most significant distributors in India in the last few years. Besides releasing acclaimed Hollywood films, they have acquired distribution rights of significant Bollywood films like Sooryavanshi, 83, Vikram Vedha, Article 370, Stree 2, Singham Again, Sitaare Zameen Par, Maa, Thamma, Dhurandhar, Batwara 1947, Vibe etc. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kamal Gianchandani, Chief Business Planning & Strategy at PVR INOX Limited and CEO of PVR INOX Pictures Limited, shared some interesting details in this regard.
When asked about the Hollywood releases of PVR INOX Pictures, Kamal Gianchandani said, “PVR INOX Pictures is having a strong year. We are also releasing Primetime, which will be out in cinemas this Friday. In fact, almost every week, we have a PVR INOX Pictures film releasing.”
He then added, “Besides Hollywood, we also have Mauja Hi Mauja with Akshay Kumar, which is coming out towards the end of November. We are also releasing Mr Salman Khan’s Monster, which will release on Eid 2027. These are two of our anticipated releases from the Bollywood slate.”
About Mauja Hi Mauja
Besides Akshay Kumar, Mauja Hi Mauja also stars Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna. Directed by Anees Bazmee, it is produced Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, along with Cape of Good Films. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on December 4, and thus clash with Shraddha Kapoor's much awaited film, Eetha. In fact, just yesterday, Bollywood Hungama reported that Akshay Kumar’s comic caper will not be released on December 4 and thus, Eetha will arrive solo. We further stated that Mauja Hi Mauja would either release in the second half of November or be pushed to 2027.
About Monster
Salman Khan will be seen in a rugged, macho avatar in Monster, as evident by his new look seen in public appearances and on season 20 of Bigg Boss. The superstar is joined in this film by Nayanthara and Muzammil Ibrahim. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Monster is presented by Dil Raju. It is a Sri Venkateswara Creations film, produced by Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore and co-produced by Rafi Kazi.
