EXCLUSIVE: Moviegoers to be treated to teasers of Thama, Bhool Chuk Maaf, The Diplomat, Andaz Apna Apna with Chhaava : Bollywood News

The grand biggie, Chhaava, is all set to release on February 14 and is expected to open with a bang due to its subject, scale, mass appeal and the casting of Vicky Kaushal. Its trailer was unveiled on January 22 digitally and moviegoers got a chance to see it on the big screen with the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force. As Chhaava, like Sky Force, is backed by Maddock Films, the trailer of the former was attached to the latter. Now, as Chhaava is ready to storm cinemas, Maddock will repeat the strategy and tease audiences with their forthcoming films.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Two promos have been attached by Maddock with the prints of Chhaava. One is the Thama announcement video while the other is the teaser of Bhool Chuk Maaf. Thama is a part of the much-loved horror comedy universe of Maddock Films and its also a grand Diwali release. Bhool Chuk Maaf, meanwhile, is a small-town romantic comedy, which has also been the forte of Dinesh Vijan’s production house. The team of Maddock is aware that Chhaava will attract people in hordes and hence, they felt that it would be ideal to present these two teasers to them.

Thama stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya (2023). Bhool Chuk Maaf, directed by Karan Sharma, stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. It is expected to be released later this year.

That’s not all. Some time back, T-Series announced that the prints of The Diplomat, starring John Abraham, will also be attached with Chhaava. It is scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 7.

Lastly, the re-release promo of Andaz Apna Apna (1994) will also be shown in cinemas. A trade source revealed, “Its teaser hasn’t been attached with Chhaava. But it will be sent to cinemas and they are expected to play it before Chhaava or during the interval.” The classic comic caper stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor.
