While Brahmastra is facing a boycott call from a section of netizens, the antagonist of the upcoming film, Mouni Roy, has made a special request to her fans. In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Mouni addressed the moviegoers and said, “Guys if you do not go and watch this film, you do not know what you’d be missing out on”. The actor asserted that the team of Brahmastra has created a “beautiful world.”
While requesting, the 36-year-old actor said, “You guys (fans) have given me so much love in these last 15-16 years of me being in Mumbai, and in whatever I do, small or big, this is something I have been waiting for the last six years”. Concluding her request, the actor added, “With heaving breaths and folded hands, please go and watch this film”.
On the other hand, the Gold actor also talked about working with Ayan Mukerji. Commenting on her character Junoon, she said, “It’s one of the most challenging roles that I have ever played. It is Ayan’s brainchild. It is the most interesting role I have gotten to play, till date.”
Ever since its inception, the upcoming adventure fantasy has been in the news for various reasons. The film is all set to hit the big screen on September 9, 2022. While Mouni will play the antagonist, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen in the lead characters. Mouni confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the film. The ensemble star cast of the Ayan Mukerji directorial also features Amitah Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.
