Exclusive: “I may never have walked in his shoes but I definitely walked in his socks” – Soha Ali Khan on her father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi : Bollywood News

Soha Ali Khan is the daughter of late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and iconic actress, Sharmila Tagore. She sought a career in acting, following in the footsteps of her mother and brother, Saif Ali Khan.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor was witty and hilarious while answering mostly light-hearted questions. Upon being asked about what was her dream job at the age of 10. The actor replied, “I wanted to be a detective, which I still do. I still want to be cast as a detective. I used to go around the house making notes before my father got very worried and would shut the door and lock me out of his office.”

The actor also added, “I wanted to solve neighborhood crimes, but we also lived opposite to Sena Bhawan so I was quickly dissuaded from that.”

Soha also shared the finest memory she has of her father, “When I didn’t have the right attire to graduate at Oxford and they are very strict about what you wear, I had to be wearing black stockings but I was wearing stilettoes and I didn’t have socks or stockings. He took off his socks and gave them to me”.

She added, “I always said, I may never have walked in his shoes but I definitely walked in his socks”.

Soha Ali Khan has made a comeback with the ZEE5 comedy Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, in which she co-stars with Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Dutta, Kritika Kamra, and Anya Singh. It's Soha's first acting role since Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 in 2018.
