Mouni Roy has once again showcased her exceptional dancing skills in the latest item number, ‘Mummy Ji’, from the upcoming film Vedaa. Dressed in a stunning red and black ghagra choli, the actress has captivated audiences with her electrifying performance. Despite facing health challenges during the shoot, Mouni delivered a powerful performance, rehearsing for just one day and filming the song over two days.

In an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Mouni said, “I am incredibly proud of how 'Mummy Ji' turned out, we all hope it brings as much joy to the audiences as it did to us while making it. My experience working on the song has been nothing short of exhilarating. Right from our rehearsals to the moment I stepped onto the set, the entire team was fueled with electrifying energy and that really translated onto the screens. Adil's choreography was vibrant and challenging, and it perfectly captured the essence of the song. Had an absolutely amazing time collaborating with Nikkhil and the entire team on this project.”

Meanwhile, director Nikkhil Advani asserted, “From ‘Saki Saki’ to now, we have come a long way! I wanted to create the same magic 'Beedi Jalaile' created when it first came out, and Mouni was that one piece of the puzzle that fits in so well! She is absolutely mesmerising in the song.”

Speaking of the film, starring John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh, Vedaa is slated to release on August 15, clashing with Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein.
