Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again released during Diwali and performed well at the box office. Starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, it was the third film in the franchise and a part of Shetty’s major Cop Universe. The universe started with the first Singham movie released in 2011. That film saw Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the actress shared her reaction on being in the film that started the ambitious Cop Universe. She said, “It’s an honor! Singham was a milestone, and I’m thrilled it started such a beloved universe.”

Kajal recently attended the grand finale of Deltin Royale’s gaming event ‘Quest for the Andar Bahar Legends’ on a luxury cruise. Sharing her experience over there, the actress said, “This is my 2nd visit to Deltin Royale and I’m really excited to meet my fans and be a part of the Andar Bahar Legends event. I’m looking forward to meeting my fans and enjoy the vibe and have a good time.”

When asked which film she instantly thinks of when she sees a big cruise, Kajal said, “Well, I can’t think of any particular movie with a ship, but it reminds me of James Bond in Casino Royale.”

Kajal turned a mother in April 2022 as she gave birth to her son Neil Kitchlu. “Motherhood is transformative,” she said. “It’s taught me patience and balancing it with work is rewarding.”

This year has been special for her as she played a dashing cop in the film Satyabhama. Sharing her experience of doing the film, she said, “It was empowering and challenging. The audience’s love made it even more special.”

Coming to her forthcoming films, Kajal will be seen in Indian 3 with Kamal Haasan and the action film Kannappa. She was also a part of Indian 2. Speaking about having a legend like Kamal Haasan as her co-star, Kajal said, “Incredible! Kamal sir’s brilliance and humility are inspiring. It’s a privilege to work with him.” As far as Kannappa is concerned, she said, “It’s turning out beautifully with stunning action and heartfelt storytelling. Can’t wait for its release!”
