Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar is not one of the run-off-the-mill love story that the production house is generally known for. Tackling the issue of female foeticide with a pinch of satire, this Ranveer Singh starrer aims at bringing about a change in perceptions. During an EXCLUSIVE rapid fire round with Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer had some interesting, quirky and witty answers. But one answer that touched our hearts was the one where he defined an ideal man.
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Ranveer Singh was asked, ‘mardaangi ki asli paribhasha’ (the true language of manliness), the actor had an interesting response to it. Ranveer said, “Mardaangi ki asli paribhasha…. ki…. you can use your strength to uplift others. Who hogi mard ki asli paribhasha (that will be the true definition of an ideal man)."
His answer left everyone around him truly stumped. Coming to the film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will mark the Bollywood debut of South actress Shalini Pandey. Apart from them, the film also features Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles. The film aims at bringing about a change in perception of women and people’s mind set regarding a girl child. The film hit the big screens today, on May 13, 2022.
On the work front, besides this, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus along with Pooja Hegde which will be releasing by the end of this year. The actor has also shot for the much talked about Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside the newly married Alia Bhatt. The actor is also expected to do Anniyan remake. While there are rumours of the actor featuring in many films, there has been confirmation on any of them.
