Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mili finally hit the big screens on November 4. While the reviews are still pouring in, final box office numbers are awaited. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the survival-thriller also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. As mentioned earlier, it is a remake of a Malayalam-language film, Helen.
The film seems to be a special one for the actress as it marks her first collaboration with her producer dad Boney Kapoor. While promoting her special survival drama, Janhvi shared the name of her dream directors she really wants to work with in future. In a candid rapid-fire segment with Bollywood Hungama, when asked the name of dream director she really wants to work with, Janhvi said, “Karan [Johar].”
“Especially because – and I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this – but just the energy I’m getting from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, I think it’s going to be like people are going to be shook. It’s going to be the most fun thing ever. And Sanjay [Leela Bhansali] sir of course. I’ve been stalking him like a maniac. And Neeraj Ghaywan.”
Mili is currently playing cinemas. The film showcases the journey of a girl who works as a waiter for a popular fast-food franchise and gets trapped in a freezer for over 48 hours.
