Bipasha Basu will be seen on screen after a gap of nearly five years in the upcoming project, Dangerous. She will also be reuniting on screen with husband and actor Karan Singh Grover. This is their third project together. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bipasha Basu spoke about working with Karan Singh Grover.

When asked about the advantage and disadvantages of working with one's partner, Bipasha said, “Advantage is that at any point of time you know your partner so well. There is an easier give and take, because you know the person and know how they are feeling. You have a tighter connect, which you won't have with other co-stars. Intimate scenes are easier with your partner.”

Talking about the disadvantage of working with your other half, the actress said, “The disadvantage would be the pressure put on the couple during the promotion because we didn't sign the project as a couple. It's not a couple’s deal. It's Karan Singh Grover and it is Bipasha Basu. We as individuals have liked something. Karan had signed this particular project before and I didn’t want to do any work. I was also particular about not wanting to work with Karan all the time. So, I was not seeing anything or reading anything. When I read Dangerous I loved it. So I told him I like it and we are going to be working together. So that is a disadvantage as people keep talking about how you are going to prove yourself as a couple. We are not coming here as couples, we are playing the character.”

Dangerous narrates the story of Aditya Dhanraj, a young struggling entrepreneur, who discovers that his wife has gone missing. He sets out to find his wife with the help of the police, only to discover that his ex-girlfriend played by Bipasha Basu will be handling his case. Produced by Vikram Bhatt and Mika Singh and directed by Bhushan Patel, Dangerous also stars Suyyash Rai, Sonali Raut, Natasha Suri, and Nitin Arora. The series is set to premiere on August 15 on MX Player.
