Subhash Ghai made his directorial comeback with OTT film 36 Farmhouse. The film maker recently revealed his experience of working with Bollywood star Dilip Kumar. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, when asked about what contribution Dilip Kumar made as writer while Ghai was working with him. The film maker replied, “Dilip sir was senior and I was a junior. A junior’s quality must be that he should trust and have faith in senior. If I start doubting the skill faculty of Dilip sir, that won’t work.”

My first question to Dilip sir was, “Sir, I grew up watching your films and I learned about cinema through your films and now I am making the film with you as a director, so will give you that kid the respect of a director? So, Dilip sir started laughing and said ‘I think of my director as director only.’ Dilip sir gave me that respect of a director in my next three films which really made me more confident as a film-maker,” Ghai added.

He also spoke about why he decided to release it on OTT. He shared his thoughts on OTT revolution. He further explains how the grammar of film business has changed post OTT revolution and about promotions of his films and reveals that he didn't spend a penny for the promotion of his film Khalnayak. He also talked about Sanjay Dutt's arrest and says that he knew he was innocent. He also shares his thoughts on legends like A.R.Rahman, Hariharan, Laxmikant-Pyarelaal, Mohd.Rafi saab etc.
