Actors Pankaj Kapur and Saurabh Shukla recently spoke about the evolving nature of love and relationships while discussing their film Jab Khuli Kitaab, which has been streaming on ZEE5 since March 6.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the two actors reflected on the idea of mature love, the changes that come with time, and how relationships continue to evolve as people grow older.
Talking about how love changes with age, Saurabh Shukla explained that the emotion itself remains constant, but the way people understand and experience it evolves with maturity.
Shukla also spoke about the concept of rediscovering one’s partner in long-term relationships. According to him, people themselves keep changing over time, which makes relationships a continuous journey of learning and understanding. “But a person keeps changing. So its rediscovery is a very interesting part which I was very excited to figure out in this film,” he shared.
Reflecting on the essence of love and companionship, Shukla emphasised that lasting relationships are built on patience and gradual understanding rather than urgency. “Slow and steady... right? This is the crux, friend,” he added.
