Excel Entertainment’s upcoming action thriller Ground Zero is set to highlight an unexplored chapter of India’s history. With its trailer and posters generating interest, the film is scheduled to premiere in Srinagar, Kashmir, on April 18, marking the first film premiere in the valley after 38 years. Emraan Hashmi expressed his gratitude for being part of the event.

Ahead of the premiere of Ground Zero in Srinagar, Kashmir, Emraan Hashmi who will be leading the charge as real-life BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey in the film, said, "To be back in Kashmir and witness a premiere unfold here after 38 years is nothing short of surreal. I feel incredibly grateful that Ground Zero gets to be a part of this landmark moment. It’s not just a film premiere, it’s a piece of history, and I’m honoured to be part of it."

Based on a true mission that earned the title of BSF’s best operation in the past 50 years (in 2015), Ground Zero presents a narrative set against the turbulent backdrop of Kashmir.

Excel Entertainment presents an Excel Entertainment Production, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy. The film is set to hit cinemas on April 25, 2025.
