The friendship between Ekta Kapoor and her Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi star Smriti Irani goes back a long way. Even though the decade long series ended years ago, the filmmaker and TV czarina has stayed in touch with Irani, who is now a renowned politician and MP at Rajya Sabha. The latter recently visited the residence of Ekta to meet her newly born son Ravie Kapoor.
The suburban residence of Ekta Kapoor seems to have too many celebrity visitors of late, courtesy her newly born Ravie Kapoor. The TV show producer and filmmaker announced the arrival of her son via surrogacy recently and even planned a naamkaran [name christening] ceremony for him recently. Her toddler has been named after her father Ravi Kapoor aka Jeetendra. A day ago, Ekta shared a glimpse of her son on Instagram when she posted about the visit of Smriti Irani.
The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi leading lady Smriti Irani visited her bestie Ekta’s residence to meet Ravie Kapoor and the new mother took to social media to share the picture calling it ‘Maaasi special’. And one can see that Smriti is quite thrilled to meet the little one and see her best friend’s life change too.
Expressing her happiness over the same, the politician commented on the same platform saying, “Maasi ka bahut bahut pyar aur ashirwad” [Lots of love and blessings from your maasi]. She added, “To see you sit in pooja with the little one in your arms, showered with blessings, an outpouring of love, laughter and pure joy around you was a sight to behold. God bless… much love.”
