Following the release of solo and group posters, the much-awaited trailer of Drishyam 2 was unveiled in a grand manner in Goa. The actors Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, and Ishita Dutta were in attendance. The trailer launch took place on Monday, October 17 in Goa, keeping the central location of the film in mind. The logline reads, “Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhooth chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai (Pay attention to the visuals, not the words. Because in words, a lie finds a place to hide).”

After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and winning all the love and support, Tabu will be back on the silver screen in a fierce avatar. The actress said that Drishyam 2 was one of the most difficult films of her career. In the movie, the actress will essay the role of IG of Goa, Meera M. Deshmukh. The actress, at the press conference of Monday, said, “It's one of my most difficult characters. I must give credit for writing this character. It's very unusual for writers to write such a complex character."

Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 will also feature Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta among others. Drishyam 2 begins seven years after the events in the first film and tests Vijay’s resolve to protect his family for whom he would cross any limits. This movie aims to provide justice to the ‘crime-thriller’ genre in every way possible.

Viacom18 Studios Presents Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios present, Drishyam 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The original score is by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 is set to release theatrically on 18th November 2022.
