Dia Mirza celebrates 23rd anniversary of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein re-release with Heartfelt tribute 23 : Bollywood News

Dia Mirza made her acting debut in the 2001 romantic drama Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. Though the film didn’t do well at the box office initially, it has garnered significant love from fans over the years. The movie was re-released in theaters on August 30, marking 23 years since its debut.

Now, Dia Mirza is overwhelmed with gratitude for the support her debut film has received since its re-release. She took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video, where she looked stunning in a yellow silk ombre saree with a golden fringe border and a matching blouse. Accompanied by the film’s song Zara Zara, she expressed her thanks with the caption, “Heart is full,” along with hashtags #RHTDM and #ZaraZara.”

Dia also thanked everyone for enjoying her recent flick, Anubhav Sinha's criminal thriller IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. She added, “Out and about for #IC814OnNetflix promotions as I revel in the love coming in for the re-release of my first film! Who would have thought? Certainly not me. P.S.- Also, so so happy with the rave reviews for IC814 The Kandahar Hijack and all the love the show is getting.”

To commemorate the re-release of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein in cinemas, Madhavan and Dia had a live session on Instagram to discuss their film and convey their gratitude to the public. The performers shared the live video in a collaborative post and wrote, “We just wanted to say a BIG thank you #RHTDM for all the love you have shown us over the last 23 years and the love you are giving the film in theatres right now.”
