Dharmendra extends full support to Esha Deol amidst separation from Bharat Takhtani : Bollywood News

Amidst official announcement of marital discord between Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, recent reports suggested a divergence in the family's views regarding the separation. While it was purported that Hema Malini, Esha's mother, has extended her support towards her daughter's decision, contrasting perspectives emerged regarding Dharmendra, Esha's father earlier. However, recently it is to be known that Dharmendra had made no such comments and is in support of daughter’s decisions.

Initially, reports implied that Dharmendra was advocating for a reconsideration of the separation, primarily due to concerns about the impact on their grandchildren, Radhya and Miraya, who share a close bond with both the Deol and Takhtani families. The veteran actor reportedly expressed apprehensions about the potential emotional toll on the children in the event of a divorce.

However, clarifications from a source have emerged, refuting these earlier assertions. A source close to the family said, “It is unclear where this has come from. However, Dharam ji is very clear that he stands by Esha's decision 100% and is in no way hurt or unhappy with her decision. A parent will always want happiness for their child and Dharam ji is the same. He wants Esha to have all the happiness and will stand by her.”

In an official statement released by the couple about their separation, they said, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this transition in our lives, the well-being and welfare of our two children remain our utmost priority. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this time.”

For the unversed, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in 2012. The actress had her first daughter Radhya in 2017 whereas her second daughter Miraya was born in 2019.
