After the Mumbai premiere at MAMI Film Festival 2019, Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu headed to Delhi for the promotions of Saand Ki Aankh. Before the Diwali release, the film was screened in Delhi for several dignitaries including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
After the screening, Arvind Kejriwal shared photos from the movie screening and praised the film. “Watched the film Saand Ki Aankh with my family last evening. The story of Shooter Dadis, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar is very inspiring. Congrats @taapsee and @bhumipednekar,” he wrote with the pictures.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia wrote, “Watched #saandkiaankh movie last night. It’s such a touching inspiring story with full entertainment. A must watch movie for all. Great work by @taapsee and @bhumipednekar."
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Saand Ki Aankh is slated to release on Diwali 2019.
