Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been in a relationship for about six years now. The couple never went public with their relationship but there have been speculations around their marriage for a while now. Their social media PDA and appearances together was often seen as a confirmation. But, Ranveer and Deepika have finally announced their wedding date on October 21 and fans have been really excited for the wedding of the year.

As the wedding madness begins, Deepika Padukone began pre-wedding festivities with a Puja ceremony in Bangalore with her family and close friends by her side earlier this week. Following his bride-to-be, Ranveer Singh too has begun the pre-wedding madness with the haldi ceremony today. On Sunday, November 4, the groom's side performed the haldi ceremony with his near and dear ones by his side including casting director Shanoo Sharma who is a dear friend of Ranveer. Dressed in all white for the ceremony, she is seen applying haldi to Ranveer as they hug it out and click a couple of selfies.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their social media to announce finally that they are getting married on November 14 and 15th. The wedding statement read, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you all for the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be getting married in Italy by Lake Como side in bother North and South Indian traditions. It will be followed by a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on December 1.
