The actress, who made her debut with xXx: Return of Xander Cage, has been making various red carpet appearances at several Hollywood events. From magazine covers to MET Gala, Deepika Padukone is making her presence felt. While her plate is full, the actress does not stop herself from her letting her hair down and her recent collaborations are a proof of it.
After featuring in the goofiest video for Allure magazine, Deepika Padukone recently featured in Vanity Fair magazine video where she explained the craziest Hindi slang to Americans. In the hilarious video of Slang School, Deepika teaches the Americans all about Hindi slang words and explains the terms, beedu, jhakaas, rokda and chikni. She looked beautiful dressed in a blue striped dress with bell sleeves.

Rokda: "Rokda is the moolah. It's the money. Cash to be precise."

Jhakaas: "Jhakaas is an emotion. I don't know how to explain it. It's a feeling. Like Amazing, wow, superlative."

Kabab Mein Haddi: "Literally, it means a bone in a kebab. Actually, it is used as if two people were going out and there was this one person who kept tagging along with them, that person would be called Kabab Mein Haddi. It's like a third wheel."

Waat Lag Gayi: "When you are screwed. When you are in deep sh*t."

Chikni: "Attractive, cute or beautiful but in a slang way. Someone you think is pretty."

Bindaas: "Like someone is easy. Easy peasy. Relaxed. Chill."

Hatke: "A situation or a person that is different or an unusual situation."

Aunty: "You usually call a lady, older than you, aunty. But, I think youngsters call a lot of their peers, who they think are not cool, aunty."

Fattu: "Someone who is scared and doesn't like to take risks and who is always afraid."

Chirkut: "Someone who is stupid or silly or clumsy."

Arre Yaar: "Oh! Come on. Get with it."

Bevda: "An alcoholic, a drunkard."

Hawa Aane De: "Means like to give me my space. Don't bother me."

Jai Ho: "In a way of celebration or victory."

Bakra: "Somebody who you play prank on. That person who would be called a bakra."
